Pizza Hut and the Muppets came together to deliver fun for the whole family in this year's Pizza Hut commercial debuting on Super Bowl Sunday. The ad introduces the new Dippin' Strips pizza, a pizza specially designed for dipping that comes with three popular dipping sauces. The commercial features many popular Muppets, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, The Great Gonzo, and Animal. The spot featured Miss Piggy hurtling around her friends, out of control at breakneck speed, and ends with a hilarious surprise visit from Statler and Waldorf (with an insult as always). While on the topic of Muppet commercials, look for the latest ad for Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper. The commercial features the song "Mahna Mahna" (recorded from the Muppet Show). Although no Muppets appear in the spot, it is still nice to hear Jim Henson's voice belt out "Mahna Mahna" on current TV again.
